The Impossible Science Behind the ‘Ocarina of Time’

How does the Ocarina of Time from the Legend of Zelda really work? YouTube channel #mashed has released the following animated video that takes a look at the impossible science behind the Ocarina of Time from the 1998 hit video game of the ongoingLegend of Zelda series. For the unfamiliar, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time set a new benchmark for interactive entertainment back in the day. The fifth official installment in Nintendo’s popular action-RPG series is so complicated and so dense that you could spend hundreds of hours trying to complete the game. Among the game’s particular gameplay mechanics, one of the most noteworthy is the time-traveling system which itself is a lot to wrap your head around. The animated video which is part of #mashed’s relatively new The Science of Power Ups series was written by Eddie Bowley and animated by Mr Curly Panda. Watch it below. Enjoy.
