Kyle grew up with a controller in one hand and a book in the other. He would've put something else in a third hand, but science isn't quite there yet. In the meantime, he makes do with watching things like television, film, and anime. He can be found posting ramblings on or trying to hop on the social media bandwagon @LikeTheRogue

Uh, Vtuber isn’t something about just anime girls, including hololive which has holostars, with 10 members. There’s tons of male vtubers or even vtubers who are dogs, demons or other stuff without human image outside of hololive.

Another correction is that their branch is ID (Indonesia), not korean. Lastly, Hololive was already popular in JP before korone and others. It’s just that it exploded in the west, but in asia they were already known, alongside nijisanji, whcih mind you, it’s the most popular vtuber group in Japan and Ichikara being a lot bigger than Cover.

All duly noted! We were pretty ignorant of the vtuber scene when this episode was originally recorded, but we’ve since fallen into the rabbit hole SUPER hard.

We love the extreme diversity in talents and it’s been pretty incredible seeing the rise of HLEN in the past few weeks. We’re still catching up on a lot of the existing content, but we’re absolutely changed men at this point haha. It’s been pretty funny to come back to this episode to see how naive we were about everything (and we’re definitely gonna correct ourselves on the next episode).
