This Fan-Made, Hand-Drawn Recreation of the 1960’s ‘Spider-Man’ Intro with Miles Morales is Too Awesome

by Antonia Haynes

With the PlayStation 5 just around the corner, you can probably expect a fair few blog posts related to upcoming PS5 games and news. This time around, we’re looking at an awesomely well done piece of fan-made content in relation to one of the release titles for the next generation of the PlayStation console: Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales.

YouTuber illbedarnd- love that name by the way- has made several cool videos those crossover various Spider-Man properties, such as the Spectacular Spider-Man theme with scenes from the PlayStation 4 Marvel’s Spider-Man game. Illbedarnd has also made some great animations before, such as reanimating the Pokémon Silver introduction. His take on Miles Morales with the classic 60’s Spider-Man intro is another great example of his skill with animation.

I’ve said it before and I will probably say it a million times after this too, but I really love highlighting creators and their content. Illbedarnd is a brilliant example of a creator who I want to see more from and whose work deserves some recognition. The hand-drawn element of this particular video is what impresses me the most. In a world where technology can make everything so much easier, sticking to a traditional art method is something that I truly admire. To support illbedarnd, have a look at his Patreon here.
